EX NIHILO: Visions CD

Welcome to the world of the extreme ! Not extreme in the sense that you're going to hear music that goes beyond all limits of the listenable but a world in where extremely thoughts are founded.
And yet, it makes you depressive that it only is regarded as extreme because it are personal thoughts. I can understand it as I'm quite ordinary myself but just because I wanna live my life on my way I often get asked if I'm still normal… I mean, writing a zine is something as a common thing for me but you'd be surprised how many people there are who think it's necessary to keep asking why I can't be normal (…and with " normal " they mean their " normal " life which is based on clichés). So I say , what's normal anyway ? Ans seeing that " extreme " has become an other word for " own personality " tells you something about the world we're living in…Anyway, Ex Nihilo is the work from Laine Gebel who's from Switzerland. Laine told me that Ex Nihilo is an electronic music project that doesn't want to be a copy from anything else… and somewhere it's right to say that. This is electronic music that comes over as a sort of Darkwave-project (something between In the nursery and a typical Cold meat industry-Band) but it's more than just that… ;There are also influences from Dark-folk, ambient, Trip hop and even some Techno (the fact that they've covered Giorgo Moroder's " The Chase " in a very special style says enough…). It's clear that this record will please those who are attracted by dark sounds (…especially as the sounds are rather morbid…). Anyone who's into discussing things with people who think it's important to have an own opinion (…looks stupid to say but you know it's more an exception then it's a rule !) can join Laine as he also a political project called " Phenicia Project ".
